Hi, When changing direction or pulling away, there is a slight delay and a clunk from the drive train. I imagine this is from the gearboxes. Is this a problem of wear somewhere? Can I fix it? It is particularly noticeable and a bit unnerving, when moving up or down the ramps into my car. Can you please advise

The delay and clunk in the drive train of a Grasshopper Classic when changing direction or pulling away could be caused by issues with the drive motors, electronic controller, or gearbox. These components may require inspection or repair by a trained Grasshopper engineer. Unauthorized tampering may invalidate the warranty, so servicing should only be done by authorized personnel.

To release the brakes for mobility on a Grasshopper Classic if the motor power fails, remove the battery cover and locate the levers at the top of each of the two electric drive motors. Turn these levers clockwise as far as they will go. This enables the vehicle to be pushed, though there may still be some resistance.

There is some play in the gearboxes. So there's a slight delay when pulling away or stopping. Is this normal or is something worn?
