This manual is applicable to the models listed: Vi-R5216L Vi-R5516 NVR Pre-Installation The NVR is highly advanced surveillance equipment that should be installed with care. Please take into consideration the following precautionary steps before installation of the NVR.

Videoswitch R-Series NVR Quick Guide Startup and Shutdown Proper startup and shutdown procedures are crucial to expanding the life of the NVR. To start your NVR: 1. Check the power supply is plugged into an electrical outlet. It is HIGHLY recommended that an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) be used in conjunction with the device.
