Never immerse the power cord in water, as electric shock may result or the air
cooler could be damaged.
Periodic cleaning is recommended for proper operation of this air cooler.
Tap water may contain impurities or dissolved solids which could leave a residue and
deposit upon the inner surface of the water tank and promote the growth of bacteria
and algae. It is recommended that you clean this air cooler often where tap water
quality is poor. More frequent cleaning may be necessary if you see a heavy buildup
of impurities or notice the presence of unpleasant odors.
Do not let water sit in cooler for days without using cooling function.
Either use up water completely or empty machine. Note: Never use abrasive
cleaners in cleaning this air cooler.
To clean air cooler, use the following steps:
1. Unplug the air cooler.
2. Empty the water tank. Dismantle the rear casing and wash tank with mild
soap or washing powder. Rinse with clean tap water.
3. If you have hard water, to remove scale or lime deposits, fill water tank with
water and 1 cup of undiluted white vinegar. Clean tank with a soft brush or
cloth.
4. To clean the outside of the air cooler, use mild detergent.
5. Depending on air quality and use of cooler, the HEPA air filter may need to
be changed after 6 to 12 months. The filter is located between the cooling
chamber and back of unit. It slides out easily. Extra filters may be ordered by
contacting your Sales Representative, by calling 1-800-839-0966 or from
www.rppurchase.com.

Do not block the intake and exhaust openings. Blockage will not affect only
the effectiveness, but also the normal operation of the machine.

Lift the lid of water inlet gently to avoid damage to hinges.

If over-filling occurs, please take the rubber plug off in the bathroom and
discharge sufficient water to bring water level down.
When operating the unit filled with water or ice cubes, be cautious of

dampness found on the ground.
To enjoy cooler air flow, you can add ice cubes or the plastic Ice
Pods to the water reservoir. Some condensation may appear on the
outside of the unit. When water drips are found, please wipe with a
soft cloth or place a water tray beneath the unit.

Caution: Add water slowly to water reservoir to avoid overfilling.
