1. Lay chain out flat. ® 2. Loosen and remove guide bar nut, sprocket cover, and washer (see Figure 2). 3. Install guide bar onto saw body. CARE OF GUIDE BAR OPERATING POLE SAW Uneven bar wear causes most guide bar problems. Continued Incorrect sharpening of chain cutter and depth gauge settings often cause this. When bar wears unevenly, CAUTION: Seek professional help if it widens guide bar groove (see Figure 13). This facing conditions beyond your ability. -
