Thank you for purchasing the Power Jump.
This emergency car battery jump starter will provide the power surge you need, and you won't need jump cables, as it plugs
into your vehicle's 12v DC socket (cigarette lighter port, for instance). With 30 volts of power, you'll have your petrol or diesel
car started in a jiffy, about 10 to 15 minutes. Leave it connected whilst driving and your car battery will recharge Power Jump
within 40 minutes. Also for SUVs, small trucks, mini vans and more. Arrives pre-charged ready to use right away. Like dynamite
comes in small packages, mighty Jump Start measures just H8xL8xD6.5cm, compact enough to store in your glove box.
IMPORTANT
• Use with cars equipped with 12-Volt electrical supply only (DOES NOT work with 30-Volt electrical supply)
• Works on 4, 6 or 8 cylinders, both petrol and diesel types of cars
• Power Jump first tests the condition of your battery and then transfers its charge to it
BEFORE USE
1) Turn EVERYTHING OFF - ignition, radio, headlights, door lights, parking lights etc.
2) One everything is off, WAIT FOR 5 MINUTES for vehicle battery to stabilize.
IMPORTANT: If this step is omitted it will be very difficult to get your vehicle started.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1) Next identify the specific ignition system your vehicle operates under. It may be necessary to refer to your
Owner's Manual. There are two classifications:
(i) The power port/cigarette lighter is powered directly by the vehicle's battery - it remains active at all times,
even when the ignition key is in the off position (if so go to step 5)
(ii) The power port/cigarette lighter is only powered when the ignition key is in the Accessory ON/ACC
position (if so go to step 4).
2) Turn the car key to ACC/ON position (the setting used to activate the electrical accessories).
3) Now plug the supplied power adaptor cord into the port on top of Power Jump.
4) Locate the small switch on the adaptor head an PUSH THE SWITCH FORWARD.
5) NOW connect the power adaptor to the 12V electrical outlet of your car e.g. cigarette lighter.
6) At this stage, the LED light on the power adaptor should turn GREEN (If GREEN go to step 7).
6a) If it does not turn GREEN,
green light should come on. When the green light comes on go to step 7.
6b) If the GREEN light does not come on or turns off,
charge. Power Jump will not be able to transfer the charge, if the GREEN light does not light up.
NOTE: DO NOT START UP THE CAR ENGINE AT THIS STAGE.
7) When the GREEN LED has lit up correctly,
transferred.
8) NOW START THE CAR ENGINE
(Please DO NOT STEP ON THE PETROL PEDAL, as this may prevent it from starting properly). After the car
has been started, do not forget to disconnect POWER JUMP or follow step 9.
TO RECHARGE
9) With the engine running and Power Jump plugged in, PUSH THE SWITCH BACKWARD. Leave Power
Jump connected for 30-40 minutes and then disconnect and store for next use.

Designed to work on car batteries that have been momentarily flat
Will not work on batteries that are more than five years old or not mechanically healthy
Will not work on damaged and defective batteries
May not work with cars installed with anti-theft devices
May not work with cars installed with advanced navigational systems
If not used for 1 year, battery will drain by 50% and will need to be charged before use
