Welcome to Bluesound, Hi-Fi for the Wi-Fi generation.
Bluesound transforms your local digital music library by putting the music of your life right at your fingertips.
The clutter of CDs is relegated to a previous era! Your smartphone, desktop or tablet running the Bluesound App
now controls your music.
Your Bluesound music system is also a sophisticated Internet streaming device that allows you to listen to a
wide range of Internet music service providers. Bluesound also provides access to music subscription services
featuring extensive catalogs of millions of songs streamed to you over the internet in real time. TuneIn Radio
makes every radio station in the world a local station via the magic of the internet.
To take full advantage of all these Bluesound capabilities requires a robust wired or wireless home network
and a reliable high speed Internet connection, provided by a DSL or Cable modem. Internet access must be
contracted and installed by your local Internet Service Provider. For remote areas there are satellite options for
high speed internet access.
Before signing on to a music subscription or cloud service we suggest that you review your Internet service plan
and be sure you have enough internet speed and bandwidth to provide uninterrupted streaming. Most internet
service providers offer multiple plans and can help you make the best choice.

Questions and answers
I have been away for 4 weeks, took out the power point and data cable in case of storm damage. Upon return plugged these back in. I went to play music via the Bluos app on my mobile and laptop, comes up with the error message 'cannot access file: host is down' I do not know how to fix this and need assistance. I went to Blusound Support but the Bot could not assist. I tried to call the North America phone number but do not know what the area code is in North America as I don't know what city you are in... and there is no support contact for Australia to call.
To fix the "cannot access file: host is down" error on your Bluesound Vault 2 after reconnecting the power and data cables:
1. Ensure the Vault 2 is properly powered on. The LED should not be solid red, as that indicates a drive error.
2. Check that your network is connected. If using Ethernet, confirm the cable is securely connected and the LED is solid blue. If using Wi-Fi, the LED should be solid green (Hotspot Mode) or show a successful connection.
3. If needed, perform a factory reset. To do this, restart the reset steps until the LED shows solid green (Hotspot Mode) or solid blue (Ethernet connection). Note: this will erase all settings, including Wi-Fi configuration, file shares, and playlists.
4. Ensure your internet service has enough speed and bandwidth for reliable streaming.
If the issue persists, contact authorized Bluesound service personnel.
