    Setting up your Machine 1. Position your machine where you will be using it. Your machine will need to have a 240 volt electric power supply. 2. Plug the machine into the mains. 3. You will need to ensure that there is a clearance of 20cm at the back and both sides of the machine.

    Preparing the Product 1. Pour the concentrate into a clean product bottle and fill to the top of the concentrate line. 2. Fill the bottle up to the neck using the coldest water possible, as the colder the water, the less time it will take for your machine to freeze down.

    Freezing and Adjustment The first time you start up your machine, it will freeze down within two and a half hours. However when you freeze it down each day afterwards, it will take less time. Because these machines are refurbished, and the compressors may have been replaced, there may be some variation in freezing time between the two sides.
  • Page 8 4. When you have slush that is fairly thick but is still being turned by the spiral, your slush is ready to serve. If you try to serve your slush, and its consistency is either too solid or too runny, you can alter its consistency by adjusting the torque setting on the back of the machine.

    Cleaning your Machine 1. Use the taps to empty the product from each of the two bowls into suitable clean container. Remove the clear lids from the bowls. 2. Remove upper mixing arm by applying gentle pressure on the front end of the stainless steel rod to remove from plastic location on the inside front of the bowl.
  • Page 11 5. Gently ease the bowls out of their position by moving them downwards forwards. Carefully release the bowl from the red seal at the back, taking care not to spill any syrup that may be remaining in the bowls. 6. Unscrew the spiral retaining nut, remembering turn...
  • Page 12 Please note that the flat face of the seal is toward the machine and the curved face is toward the bowl. You Curved face will need to remember this when you reassemble the machine after cleaning. Flat face 8. Clean the cylindrical evaporator and the blue plastic tray underneath with a soft damp cloth.

    Cleaning the Filter 1. A removable filter is fitted to the machines, so you will need access to the back of the machine. Remove the black plastic knob. 2. Gently ease off the back panel from the top, taking care to avoid damaging the screw thread.
