    NMEA HPC COMPASS Electrical installation The HPC Compass will output NMEA data on both the RS-232 and RS-422 output. The RS-232 is used for setup of the HPC (via a Computer) and the RS-422 is used for connection to other equipment. The unit is not powered via the D-sub connector.
