  • Page 2 1.0 Install the chassis for the T7900 The T7900 is a CompactPCI blade that is housed in a Patton Model 6286 2U chassis. The Model 6286 Mid-plane & Chassis can be easily configured according to your system requirements. Due to the broad application possibil- ities, the following checklist is provided as a quick set-up guideline.

    To configure the T7900 using the CLI, connect a PC to the unit’s console port. Open a terminal program on the PC and create a connection with the default settings: 19200 baud rate, 8 data bits, no parity, and 1 stop bit. For information on configuring the T7900, refer to the Visuality™ MVAS Deployment Guide and the Note TrinityAE Adiminstrator’s Reference Guide, available online at www.patton.com/manuals/Visuality.pdf.
