Maintenance This tong is designed for household use and is virtually maintenance free. If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the tong from the power outlet, allow it to cool, and then wipe the exterior surface with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in any liquid. Do not use an abrasive cleaning fluid or material to clean the ceramic barrel as this will scratch the surface. -
