  • Page 5 Before First Use 1) Clean the griddle surface with a damp cloth to wipe off dust or any unwanted residue. 2) NEVER soak the unit in water and NEVER use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the non-stick surface as they might damage the coating. 3) Apply a light coat of cooking oil to the non-stick surface of the Griddle.
  • Page 6 COOKING: 1) Brush or spray a coating of cooking spray onto the surface of the griddle. 2) Let the cooking surface preheat for approximately 5 minutes. 3) Place desired food onto the griddle to cook. 4) Always used wooden or heat resistant utensils. 5) When cooking is complete, set temperature control to lowest setting to keep food warm before serving.
  • Page 7 … Care & Maintenance … 1) Unplug the cord and let unit cool completely before cleaning. 2) Remove the griddle cooking surface from the base of the unit. 3) Use a wooden or plastic spatula to scrape off any food residue. 4) Remove the oil/grease tray, wipe it with a paper towel first and then wash with warm soapy water.
