Purpose Thermostat kit is used to replace the external thermostat on the Inline 1100/CP. The kit contains all of the parts and components necessary to completely replace the existing external thermostat. WARNING Serious or fatal electric shock may result from failure to connect the Inline System to the service entrance ground.
Installation Procedure 1. Carefully open package and remove the thermostat, lock washers, and screws. 2. Above the suction port, locate two small screw holes.

3. Use the two supplied lock washers and screws to affix the thermostat to the pump using 4 in/lbs (0.45 N-m) of torque. 4. Route the thermostat wire across the top of the pump, running it between the drives, heat sink fins. 5.

6. Loosen the small strain relief. 7. Route the thermostat cable through the small strain relief with the pressure sensor wire. 8. Attach the wires to terminal labeled “Shut-off Sensor”. The red wire goes on the outside left terminal and the black wire goes to the inside right terminal. Use 4 in/lbs (0.45 N-m) of torque.

9. Tighten the small strain relief with 50 in/lbs. (5.65 N-m) of torque. 10. Replace the drive’s access cover. Use 12.5 in/lbs (1.41 N-m) of torque.
