    2 - Technical information 3 TECHNICAL INFORMATION 2.1 General The COROB D300 is an automatic dispensing machine available with sixteen colourant canisters, COROB D300-16C. The COROB D300 is meant for dispensing colourants and its main opera- tional utilization is for all kinds of shops and other institutions. The COROB D300’s optional equipment includes a punching mechanism, a label printer, and a spectrophotometer.

    2 - Technical information 2.4 Operating principles Before dispensing, place a base paint can on the can table and lift up the table with the pedal. For more information about the can table see “Using the can table” on page 17. You can also get COROB D300 with a manual puncher to make a hole in the can’s lid.

    6 - Machine Installation 11 MACHINE INSTALLATION 6.1 Installation site requirements The structural design of the COROB D300 is geared towards it being functional and user-friendly. To ensure ease of use, take into account the following details when installing the machine: The machine should be operated at room temperature, in a room with no harmful humidity or drafts and adequate air conditioning.

    8 - Instructions for use 21 8.9 Switching off the machine After the last tinting of the day: Fill the colourant canisters so that they are all at the same level. Check that there is water in the water reservoir. Clean the humidifier cap, if necessary.

    9 - The COROB D300 with 24 canisters THE COROB D300 WITH 24 CANISTERS The COROB D300 with 24 canisters is essentially like the COROB D300 with sixteen canisters; four canisters have been added to both sides and this way the one with 24 canisters is only wider than the one with sixteen canisters.

    12 - Guidelines for using VOC-free colourants 12.3 Used dispenser by solvent-free colourants Refilling a used dispenser by solvent-free colourants needs special attention paid in following cases: • The dispenser is currently filled with other VOC-free colourants. • The dispenser has been used very little and has dried colourant in canisters. In these cases the dispenser should be properly cleaned before filling it with VOC-free colourants.
