my microwave switch on but the buttons does not registered any value when pressed

Mr. Anderson
April 6, 2025

The buttons on the LG microwave model MH8082X may not register any value when pressed if the microwave is in ECO ON mode. In this mode, the display turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity or if the door is open or closed, to save energy. Pressing any key will turn the display back on. If the display remains off and buttons do not respond, try pressing STOP/CLEAR (ECO ON) to reactivate the display. If the issue continues, unplug the microwave and plug it back in.
