1 Operating Elements
and Connections

1.1 Front side

1 LC display
2 Rotary knob NAV/PM1 to select the menu
items, to select the parameters and to
change values
3 Rotary knob PM2 to change adjustments,
depending on the selected submenu item
4 Button ENTER to call a selected submenu
and to confirm an input
5 Button ESC to cancel an input and to exit a
submenu
6 Button UTILITY to call the menu for general
system adjustments
7 Rotary knob PM3 to change adjustments,
depending on the selected submenu item
8 LED MUTE, each for the inputs A and B and
for the outputs 1 to 6, indicates the muting of
the input or output
9 LED EDIT, each for the inputs A and B and
for the outputs 1 to 6, shows that the input or
output has been selected to change its
adjustments
10 Button for the selection or deselection of an
input or output to change its adjustments or to
mute it
button pressed for a while (approx. 2 s):
The input or output is muted or the sound is
reactivated [LED MUTE (8) lights on or off]
button pressed shortly:
The input or output is selected or deselected
[LED EDIT (9) lights on or off]
To make adjustments for several outputs
together, further outputs can be selected in
addition to an output already selected. It is
possible to deselect these outputs individu-
ally. The deselection of the first output
selected results in the deselection of all out-
puts. The adjustment of both inputs can be
linked in the same way. Then only the param-
eters changed during linking are adapted. All
individual adjustments of the inputs and out-
puts are maintained.
11 LED chain, for both inputs each, to indicate
the input signal level; if the LED CLIP lights
up, the input is overloaded, in this case atten-
uate the output level of the signal source
accordingly
12 LED chain, for the outputs 1 to 6 each, to
show the signal level or the attenuation of the
dynamic range, depending on the adjustment
"Vu-Meter Mode" of the output
LIMIT
lights up when the limiter or the compressor
is active and attenuates the dynamic range of
the output signal
"Vu-Meter Mode" = "Level"
The lower five LEDs show (according to the
imprint) the absolute output level. If the LED
