    PREFACE This durable product is a high-definition recording device used to capture extreme activities from Skydiving to Surfing. SportZcam has a variety of industry leading features including digital video recording, audio recording, and various photo shooting modes. The sky’s the limit. You name it, it will film it!     3) act as your “BACK” button when navigating menu. NOTE: Holding down the “POWER/MODE” button for 3 seconds will allow you to turn camera ON/OFF. Once ON, the “POWER/MODE” button will allow you to navigate through one of the four SportZcam Modes.

    SPORTZCAM SETUP MENU DELETE FILE OPTIONS: “Delete This File?” → Deletes the SINGLE file that you are currently viewing. “Delete All Files?” → Deletes ALL the files within your current Preview Media Mode. NOTE: You cannot recover files once deleted. Make sure you export the files you want to keep BEFORE deleting.

    PREVIEW MEDIA MODE: Ability to navigate between viewing “Video(mov.)” files and “Picture(jpeg.)” files. OPTIONS: “Video(mov.)” “Picture(jpeg.)” NOTE: When in “Picture(jpeg.)” Mode you will not be able to view your “Video(mov.)” files. Vice versa. Make sure you have the proper “Preview Media Mode” selected. ROTATE: When [ON] you will simply have the ability to film right side up when the camera is upside down.

    PICTURE TIMER: Ability to take a self-timed shot with your choice of 2, 5, or 10 second timer. This feature is recommend for taking the perfect “selfie”. OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) “2 Sec” “5 Sec” “10 Sec” NOTE: When using “Picture Timer” mode, “Burst” Mode will automatically set to off.

    BURST: Ability to capture several photos in quick succession. You can choose from your choice of 3, 5, or 10 burst shots. This feature is great for capturing each step of an action scene. OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) “3 Burst” “5 Burst”...

    CAR MODE or “Dash Cam”: Setting Car Mode to [ON] enables SportZcam to automatically turn on and start recording when plugged into power. Therefore, when camera is plugged into your car, it will automatically start when car is turned on and automatically stop when car is turned off.

    MOVIE SIZE: Ability to choose between FHD and HD. OPTIONS: “FHD 1080P (30FPS)” (default setting) “HD 720P (30FPS)” NOTE: Full High Definition (FHD) will allow you to film in 1080P. High Definition (HD) will allow you to film in 720P. If you want better quality pictures and videos we recommend FHD which will take up more storage.

    SportZcam will automatically stop recording when no motion is detected for a period of 5 seconds. SportZcam must be powered on and in “Video Mode”. Feature is used and promoted for home security. OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) “ON”...

    SPORT MODE: Will automatically start recording based on your selection of the four following sensitivities... OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) - Will NOT automatically start recording. “LOW” - Will automatically start recording upon high impact. “MID” - Will automatically start recording upon medium impact.

    G SENSOR: SportZcam uses the G-sensor to detect significant or sudden movement and will automatically lock the video file being produced at the time, meaning that any significant footage is saved. OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) “LOW” “MID” “HIGH” NOTE: Helps prevent losing video files while recording.

    IMAGE RESOLUTION: Image resolution refers to how many pixels are captured in an image. The higher the amount of pixels, the more detail your picture will have. OPTIONS: “12MP (4000 x 3000)” (default setting) “10MP (3648 x 2736)” “8MP (3264 x 2448)” “6MP (2816 x 2112)”...

    EXPOSURE: A photograph's exposure determines how light or dark an image will appear when it's been captured by your SportZcam. OPTIONS: “-2.0” “-5/3” “-4/3” “-1.0” “-2/3“ “-1/3” “0.0” (default setting) “+1/3” “+2/3” “+1.0” “+4/3” “+5/3” “+2.0” NOTE: “-2.0” will help you capture image detail very bright environments.

    QUALITY: The quality setting you use determines the amount of compression your camera applies to the image. OPTIONS: “Super Fine” (default setting) “Fine” “Normal” NOTE: “Super Fine” Quality (lower compression) setting will give you a great looking image, but also takes more space on your memory card.

    WHITE BALANCE: Ability to change the image’s color balance when you take your pictures. OPTIONS: “Auto” (default setting) “Daylight” “Cloudy” “Tungsten” “Fluorescent”...

    ISO: The measurement of how sensitive a digital camera's sensor is to light. The speed or light-sensitivity of a digital camera's sensor is rated in ISO numbers. OPTIONS: “Auto” (default setting) “100” “200” “400” NOTE: The lower the number, the slower the response to light.

    ANTI-SHAKING: Anti-Shaking, also known as Image Stabilization, is a technology that helps prevent digital photos from becoming blurred. It reduces camera’s overall blur caused by hand shaking movements. OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) “ON” NOTE: Anti-Shaking significantly REDUCES blur, but in some extreme cases of shaking, is not strong enough to completely eliminate blur.

    SHARPNESS: Sharpness controls the quality of detail in an image. OPTIONS: “Strong” “Normal” (default setting) “Soft” NOTE: “Strong” will contain more clear and crisp detail, whereas “Soft” will contain less, almost making it look blurry.

    DATE & TIME: Set the current date and time format.     POWER SAVE: SportZcam will automatically turn screen black to save power after not using it for your selection between 10 seconds, 30 seconds, or 1 minute. To activate again, just press the “OK” button on the top of the camera.

    DELAY SHUTDOWN: When CAR MODE is “ON”, you can continue recording for 3 minutes after camera is removed from power. OPTIONS: “OFF” (default setting) - Stops Recording and Powers OFF when power is no longer detected. “ON” - Continues Recording for 3 minutes after power is no longer detected.

    NOTE: “50Hz” will run slightly slower than “60Hz” but will save more battery and also help camera to not overheat. BEEP: Ability to turn “beep” sound [ON] or [OFF] while navigating through the SportZcam features. OPTIONS: “OFF” “ON” (default setting)

    FORMAT: Format means to erase everything on your Micro SD memory card completely. OPTIONS: “Cancel” “Enter” NOTE: Formatting will delete all files on your Micro SD memory card permanently. Make sure you import and save the files you want to keep on a different device BEFORE proceeding to use this feature.

    OPTIONS: “Cancel” “Enter” NOTE: Factory Reset will not affect your memory card. Only reset the setting you may have changed back to normal. SYSTEM INFO: Provides the current Firmware version loaded on the SportZCam.

    FIRMWARE UPDATE From time to time, SportZTek will update the Firmware on the SportZCam. To get the latest firmware for the SportZCam, visit www.Sportzcam.com, go to the support section of the site and search for FAQ item Titled “Updating SportZCam Firmware”. Download the latest .X1W firmware file and follow the steps below.
