    The guide is intended for reading both from the point of view of VideoNet system administrator (the user who will setup system configuration), and from the point of view of VideoNet system operator (the user who will only work with the system).

    1. VIDEONET. BRIEF OVERVIEW VideoNet system is a new user interface, new features of its setting and work; a network matrix, an ability to work with graphic plans of guarded objects, new video capture cards, an updated player. Multiscreen interface enables system operator to switch between different modes of working with the system.

    Click N to continue. 2. On this step VideoNet Setup Wizard invites a user to enter computer name for computer identification in the system. Enter a computer name into the corresponding edit box and click to continue.

In case of multi-monitor configuration the system suggests master monitor resolution. 7. Click after completion of VideoNet Setup Wizard work.

    3. The page opens with the license for the selected computer. To upgrade your VideoNet license, refer to the technical support service of the SKYROS Corporation or to any of our dealers. You can find dealers list on the SKYROS Corporation website (www.cctvline.ru) or on the VideoNet website (www.videonet.ru).

    • Limitation on amount of PowerVN8 cards VideoNet license regulates amount of PowerVN8 card video inputs. If you have connected several PowerVN8 cards, and the license allows full-function usage of only one card, then only 4 video inputs will be displayed on all cards, except this one card.

    System configuration parameters setup is a multistage procedure that requires understanding of the system idea on the whole. Before starting work with the VideoNet system, it is necessary to perform sequential system configuration setup. If configuration of your system is already set up and there is no necessity for you to change any parameter setup, then you can only read terms and notions of this chapter.

    You can perform standard procedures of adding, removing, connecting, switching, and device parameters configuring. You can connect different kinds of devices to the VideoNet system. In the VideoNet system there is Devices page, which is intended for working with devices.

Pan Tilt controller It is intended for operating with pan and tilt devices and zoom lenses in VideoNet system. VideoNet system distinguishes two types of controllers: - Pan Tilt controllers for COM-port You should add controllers of that type to system configuration, if you want to work with Pan Tilt cameras, operated by controller via COM-port of the computer.

Under free channels VideoNet system understands monitor outputs on video output cards, nothing must be «programmed» for these outputs, and they must not be used by other devices.
