    The guide is intended for reading both from the point of view of VideoNet system administrator (the user who will setup system configuration), and from the point of view of VideoNet system operator (the user who will only work with the system).

    1. VIDEONET. BRIEF OVERVIEW VideoNet system is a new user interface, new features of its setting and work; a network matrix, an ability to work with graphic plans of guarded objects, new video capture cards, an updated player. Multiscreen interface enables system operator to switch between different modes of working with the system.

Before starting work with the VideoNet system, it is necessary to perform sequential system configuration setup. If configuration of your system is already set up and there is no necessity for you to change any parameter setup, then you can only read terms and notions of this chapter.
