    1. Quick Start Guide Pull the battery tab before operation. It is recommended to fully charge the ADVENTURER2 before first use. Fully charge the ADVENTURER2 before first use. If the ADVENTURER2 does not operate after pulling the battery tab or anytime during normal operation, fully charge and reset the ADVENTURER2 by inserting an open ended paper clip into the reset hole.

    WARNING:  Do not mix old and new batteries.  Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.  Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommend are to be used.  If the ADVENTURER2 is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries. Old or leaking batteries can cause damage to the ADVENTURER2 and may void the warranty.

    8.6.1 AM/FM/SW Radio Tuning When the radio is turned on, press the TUN button to increase the frequency and press the button to decrease the frequency. To tune quickly, press and hold the TUN ( ) key for at least one second. When you let go, the radio will automatically tune to next radio station with sufficient reception.

    8.11 Resetting the ADVENTURER2 If the ADVENTURER2 experiences a power surge or electric shock, it is possible that the internal micro-controller may lock up and the ADVENTURER2 will not respond to any commands from the panel controls. In this event, use a straightened paper clip, toothpick or similar objects to press the RESET button located on the back of the ADVENTURER2 (see the below figure).
