• Use only unused M-size alkaline
batteries or Canon AA-size NiMH

• Replace the camera batteries with
2 unused or fully charged batteries

• Use the AC Adapter Kit ACK800
(sold separately) (p. 108).
• Wipe the battery terminals with a
clean dry cloth.
• Reload the batteries several times.
The camera's orientation
mechanism is operating. There is
no malfunction.
