Congratulations on your purchase of FTR's CaddyTrek™ ‐ the world's most compact robotic
following golf caddy. We strongly recommend that you read the user manual thoroughly (user
manual is downloadable from www.caddytrek.com) and do a practice run of CaddyTrek in a
wide‐open area to get yourself familiarized with the caddy prior to using it on the golf course.
User familiarity of the operation of this unit will ensure an enjoyable round of golf and trouble free golfing.

  • Page 2 When you are ready to hit a shot or putt, press the Follow button again or the STOP button to stop the caddy. Caddy will go into Stand-By (SB) mode. You will hear one long and one short beep when CaddyTrek is switched to SB mode.
  • Page 3 Folding CaddyTrek for Transport or Storage Folding CaddyTrek is easy after you’ve practiced a few times. Refer to the setup photos and follow in reverse order: Make sure CaddyTrek is placed on leveled ground and is powered off. Loosen the two black knobs on the Upper Bag Support Bar, lower the handle, and tighten the two black knobs.
  • Page 4 Charging the Battery and Handset: The Caddytrek uses a Lithium battery to power the motors and sensors. The battery should be fully charged before using your Caddytrek. Check the battery charge level by pressing the Red Button on top of the battery (see photo).
  • Page 5 You may either use it in Remote Control Mode for more responsive results on these surfaces or walk at a pace which allows Caddytrek to remain closer to you to ensure a better direct connect signal.
  • Page 6 Caddytrek stops or pauses while in Follow Mode, make certain the handheld remote unit is secured with clip attached to either your belt, back pocket or located on your body to keep direct unobstructed signal.
  • Page 7 The Caddytrek while in Follow Mode will follow wherever the golfer goes keeping the same pace and in the same path. So if you walk into a sand trap the Caddytrek will also follow. If you walk into a body of water, the Caddytrek will follow. The unit is equipped with the obstacle avoidance technology in its software but due to its sensitivity in these units the manufacturer has decided to not activate this feature.
