S8590AU SMART SENSOR WITH KERATIN THERAPY USE AND CARE INSTRUCTION MANUAL Thank you for purchasing your new Remington® Smart Sensor with Keratin Therapy. Smart Sensor combines a heat sensor strip embedded in the straightener plate with Advanced CeraSol Ceramic plates infused with heat activated Keratin to promote healthy hair and smooth shiny styles.

KERATIN Keratin is a naturally occurring protein that is a vital element in strong healthy hair. Remington’s patent pending coating uses ‘bio’ technology functional Keratin which has the same Keratin structure as human hair and is proven to restore, repair and enhance shine.
The heat sensor on indicator will illuminate and pulse while continually monitoring the level of moisture in the hair. This is an optional function and can be turned off by pressing the heat sensor button. When the heat sensor is not activated, the heat sensor icon will not illuminate.
• Repeat on the same section of hair if it needs extra straightening. • Repeat until the desired amount of straightening has been achieved. For shorter hair place a comb between the scalp and the styler to avoid touching the scalp. Do not style too closely to the scalp, ears, neck and skin.
