Getting started
INSERTING THE MICROSD CARD
Insert a microSD memory card (up to 64 GB capacity, not
included) in the card slot, gold contacts facing up. The card
is inserted correctly when a click is heard.
CHARGING THE CAMERA
Using the included USB cable, connect the camera to a
USB power source and charge it completely before first
use. When the camera is fully charged, the indicator turns
off.

EXTERNAL POWER SOURCE FOR EXTENDED USE
While using the camera, an external power source can
be used to provide continuous power and allow a longer
autonomy period (a rechargeable booster pack, a car/ATV
outlet, a USB source or a wall socket).
TURNING THE CAMERA ON
• To turn on the camera, press .
• To turn off the camera, press and hold a few
seconds until the screen shuts down.

Choosing a mode
The camera has 2 recording modes; Dash Cam and Action
Cam. Dash Cam mode is set by default.
Modes can be switched from the menu (see step 3).

Press to trigger and stop recording
Dash Cam
Continuous loop video recording in 3 min sections
Press to trigger recording. Press then
to stop recording

Menu
To enter the menu, press in the preview screen.
Use to navigate the menu and to select.
At the end of the menu options, the camera goes back to
the preview screen.

the smartphone application (see user's manual for

Downloading the App
Before using your camera with your smartphone, ins-
tall the XCEL STREAM app from Google Play Store or
Apple Store.
1. Go to Google Play Store or Apple
store on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Search for XCEL STREAM.
3. Tap "Install".
4. Wait for the end of the installation before using your
phone to control the camera or to live stream over
the web.
