    • Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. • Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.
  • Page 4 BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE • Ensure the trigger switch is in the off position before inserting battery pack. Inserting the battery pack into power tools that have the switch on invites accidents. • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
  • Page 5 • Never use a battery which has been dropped or received a sharp blow. A damaged battery is subject to explosion. Properly dispose of a dropped or damaged battery immediately. • Use designated battery pack (IRONTON™ – Item#: 46173) and charger for this tool. Use of any other batteries may result in a risk of fire.
  • Page 6 • Place charger on flat non-flammable surface and away from flammable materials when you are recharging the battery pack. • To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug charger from outlet before attempting any maintenance or cleaning. • If operating time has become excessively shorter, stop operating immediately. The battery may result in a risk of overheating, possible burns and even an explosion.

    INSTALLING OR REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK (FIG 2) • To install the battery pack, slide the battery pack (1) into the bottom of the tool housing (2) all the way until it locks in place with a click, as shown in FIG 2. Lightly pull on the battery to ensure it is locked into place and will not accidentally fall out of the tool, causing an injury.
