    Safety Instructions This manual covers what should be done to protect the user’s safety and prevent property damage. Please make sure to read these safety instructions before using the product. Do not disassemble, repair and/or alter the product. This may cause a fire, an electric shock and/or malfunction. Contact the service center if you need to have the product fixed. User may not be entitled to free service if and when product malfunction is caused by user’s fault.

    Product Features • High-definition Video: Motorcam uses high quality megapixel lenses, which produce clear and sharp images even at night. • G-Sensor: When the camera detects gravity acceleration of 2G or more the current file will automatically be write protected and cannot be deleted by the Loop Record function. When browsing videos on the camera the protected files will be distinguishable by a key icon. • Motion Detection: With Motion Detection enabled function turned on (settings menu) the camera will start recording when it detects motion in front of the car while parked. Navigate the menu with the UP and DOWN buttons and press OK to enter sub-menus and to select options. button again.     Operating Modes 1. Video Mode The camera defaults to Video Mode when switched on manually or connected to the car charger and starts recording automatically. Press OK to start and stop recording manually. A red dot blinking in the upper left hand corner of the display indicates that the camera is recording. If the camera is connected to the 12V car charger it will power down automatically about 10 seconds after you turn off the ignition or unplug the charger. During recording press the POWER button to manually protect the current file from being overwritten by the “Loop Record” function. A “Key” symbol will momentarily appear on screen. 2. Photo Mode Press and hold the OK button to enter Photo Mode. Press OK again to take still photos. 3. Preview Mode In Photo Mode press and hold the OK button to enter Preview Mode. Use the the UP/ DOWN buttons to select video and photo files. Press the OK button to play back video. Press the POWER button once to enter the Delete File / Protect / Slide Show menu.     • Connecting to Computer Connect unit to your computer with the included USB-cable. Press the OK button once and the PC will detect the camera as a storage device. Go to My Computer >> Removable disk >> DCIM where you will find all the files currently on the memory • Charging the Battery When attached to the car charger the camera will charge the battery while operating normally. The camera will also charge the battery when connected to a computer via USB • Reset To reset the camera to the default factory settings enter the system settings menu and select Default Setting >> OK • Screen Saver Set the amount of time before the screen saver will activate or turn it off entirely Page 16...
  • Page 17 • Playing Back Video There are 3 different ways of viewing footage recorded with the X1 1. Directly from the SD card Eject the SD Card by gently pushing it in with your nail until you hear a click. The card will pop out slightly allowing it to be easily removed. Use any Micro SD compatible card reader to access the data. The video files (.avi) can be found in the DCIM folder on the card and can be played back using most standard video players Windows Media Player, Quicktime Player, VLC Media Player etc or backed up to your computer’s hard drive. 2. Via USB Connect the camera to the computer with the included USB cable. Select “Mass Storage” and click OK.
