    About Passport Echo Passport Echo is a system that offers you an easy, interactive way to watch and record TV. The Passport Echo Digital Video Recorder (DVR) enables you to enjoy the features described in the following chapters and to tailor your Passport Echo system to suit your preferences.

Note: Unless otherwise noted, most procedures in this document assume that the remote control is set to operate the set-top box (in other words, that you have already pressed the CBL key on the remote control).
