RCA RC345 Quick Start Manual

1. Unpack
Make sure the following items came in your
package:
• RCA Bluetooth Wireless Audio System
• AC power adapter
2. Install battery back-up
Battery back-up keeps time for you in case
you lose power. To install battery backup,
open the battery compartment on the
bottom of the wireless audio system and
install 2 AAA batteries (not included). Then
close the battery compartment again.
3. Plug in
Plug the AC power adapter into the DC
5V jack on the back of the wireless audio
system.
Plug the other end into a wall outlet or
surge protector.
4. Set the time
When you first plug in the audio system, the
hours digits on the clock start flashing—it's
time to set the time! Note: If the hours digit
aren't flashing, press and hold the TIME SET
button until they do.
Use the TIME/VOLUME
– / + buttons to set the
hour.
For PM, go past 12 (the
PM indicator illuminates
on the clock).
To go faster, press and
hold.
Press the TIME SET
button again to finish
setting the hour. The
minutes digits starts
flashing.
Use the TIME/VOLUME
– and + buttons to set
the minutes. To go
faster, press and hold.
Press the TIME SET
button again to finish
setting the minutes.
5. Pair + connect Bluetooth
Press the BLUETOOTH
button. After a few
seconds, the audio
system says "Pairing"
and the Bluetooth
indicator on the clock
starts blinking.

Enable Bluetooth on your
device (if it isn't already

enabled).

Choose "RCA RC345" from the

Bluetooth devices
list of devices available.
Headset
After a few seconds, the audio
Computer
system says "Connected" and
RCA RC345
the Bluetooth indicator on the
clock becomes solid blue.
Start playing audio on your
8:45PM
device. The audio system starts
streaming this audio wirelessly.

Bluetooth Wireless Connection Tips
• Make sure the Bluetooth capability of your
device is turned on.
• The Bluetooth wireless connection works up
to a range of roughly 33 feet (10 meters).
This range may vary, however, based on
other factors, such as room layout, wall
material, obstacles, your device's Bluetooth
performance, etc. If you're having problems
connecting to the speaker, move closer to it.
• If your device asks you for a password to
connect, use "0000".
