    Auto Weight Defrost can be programmed before the first stage to defrost first and then cook. MICROWAVE POWER LEVELS Your microwave oven is equipped with ten power levels to give you maximum flexibility and control over cooking. The table below will give you some idea of which foods are prepared at each of the various power levels.

    USING YOUR MICROWAVE OVEN CHILD LOCK This is a unique safety feature that prevents unwanted oven operation such as used by children. Once the CHILD LOCK is set, no cooking can take place. To set the child lock Touch and hold START/ENTER until locked appears in the display.

    HEATING/REHEATING GUIDE To heat or reheat successfully in a microwave oven, it is important to follow several guidelines. Measure the amount of food in order to determine the time needed to reheat. Arrange the food in a circular pattern for best results. Room temperature food will heat faster than refrigerated food.

  • Page 22 CAUTION: Do not overcook. Standing time allows foods to continue cooking evenly for a few minutes after the actual microwave oven cooking cycle. The amount of standing time depends upon the density of the foods. As in conventional cooking, the initial temperature of food affects total cooking time.
