Installing Programs

You can download and install applications from the Windows Store, or from other trusted
publisher, a CD/DVD from an external device, and from your home or business network. Most
programs written for Windows 7 will also work with Windows 8 however some older programs
may run poorly or not at all.

Deleting Apps

Should you wish to remove an app, you can uninstall it. Go to the Start Menu and swipe up from
the center of the screen to access the Apps Menu. Then tap and hold the app you wish to delete
UNINSTALL
for 2-3 seconds. Options will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap
Reinstall Apps
To reinstall purchased apps that were once deleted, (and if still available in the Windows Store):

1. Open the tile and sign in.

Install.

View Downloads

Search Downloads
To view downloads, use the Search box and type in . Tap on the selected
file to view.
