Slightly depress the control knob and rotate to the LEVEL 1 or LEVEL 2 position. When the automatic valve senses that the pilot is alight, the gas flow to the main burner is opened. NOTE: The grill surface will discolour from heat. Discolouring will not affect the grill surface function and does not render the grill surface defective. The grill surface should be cleaned with hot water and detergent.
