    • Inspect the grill before each use. 1. Inspect all hoses and connections and make certain they are secure. 2. Check and clean the burner venturi tubes for spider and insect nests by removing the burner and inserting a bottle brush cleaner into each tube to make sure the passage is clear.

    ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1 Remove all contents from the carton packaging. Make sure all parts are present before attempting assembly. Once the grill is fully assembled, go back and check to make certain all the bolts are secure. Tighten again using the screwdriver provided if necessary.
  • Page 17 STEP 2 a) Loosen the four bolts pre-installed on the left and right side panels and insert back panel. Tighten by hand until secure. b) Align the holes on the back panel with the holes on the bottom panel assembly. Insert one bolt into each pre-drilled hole on the bottom panel.
  • Page 18 STEP 4 a) Align the holes on the beam of cylinder clip with the holes on right drawer support as shown. b) Insert one bolt with one spring washer and one flat washer into each pre-drilled hole.   • Page 19 STEP 6 Drawer assembly: Make sure the drawer with the lighting stick is installed onto the upper drawer support, and make sure the lower drawer is installed first. a) Install lower drawer first: Pull out the two track supports on the drawer.

  • Page 22 STEP 10 a) Loosen the five pre-installed bolts on the right side of body assembly, and allow ¼ bolt length to extend from the body assembly. b) Align the large holes on the right side shelf with the bolts extending from the body assembly, and push down on the right side shelf until the shelf locks into place.

  • Page 24 STEP 13 a) Open the left top lid first, and align the holes on motor support with the holes on the side panel of body assembly as shown. b) Insert one bolt from the inside of the motor support into each hole on the side panel of the body assembly.

The use of unauthorized parts can create an unsafe condition and environment. In Canada, the LP gas cylinder must be constructed and marked in accordance with specifications of the National Standard of Canada, CAN/CSA-B339,...
  • Page 29 9.1 kg/20 lb cylinders equipped with a cylinder connection device compatible with the connection for outdoor cooking appliances. The cylinder must include a collar to protect the cylinder valve. The gas cylinder should not be dropped or handled roughly. If the appliance is not in use, the gas cylinder must be disconnected.

    DANGER: A fire causing death or serious injury may occur if the following is not followed exactly. • Never store or use gasoline or other volatile substances in the vicinity of this grill. • Never store a spare propane cylinder in the vicinity of this grill, or in the vicinity of another potential heat source.

    DANGER: To prevent fire or explosion hazard when testing for a leak: 1. Always perform the leak-test before lighting the grill and each time the cylinder is connected for use. See “Leak-testing” section on page 31. 2. Do not smoke or allow other sources of ignition in the area while conducting a leak-test.

    TO TEST 1. Make approx. 90 mL/3 fl oz of leak solution by mixing one part liquid dishwashing soap with three parts water. 2. Make sure control knobs are in the OFF position. 3. Spray some solution on the cylinder valve up to the regulator connection (see diagram).
  • Page 33 when preparing to light the main burners, to prevent possible injury. MAIN BURNERS Instructions 1. Open lid while lighting burner. Warning: Attempting to light the burner with the lid closed may cause an explosion. Make sure there are no obstructions of airflow to the gas unit.
  • Page 34 Burner installation and adjustment: Precautions 1. After lighting, observe the burner flame. Make sure all burner ports are lit. 2. If the burner flame goes out during operation, immediately turn the gas OFF. Open lid to let the gas clear for at least 5 minutes before re-lighting. 3.
  • Page 35 7. Confirm that the burner is properly lit and that the flame pattern is as desired (see Fig. A, B and C below for proper flame patterns). If the flame pattern is other than normal, consult the “Troubleshooting” section on page 40 for corrective action.
