Before operating this vehicle, read all of the instructions for safe assembly and operation as well as the instructions governing the engine and other portions of the vehicle.

    FireFox 620. This manual provides instructions for assembly, maintenance, and general operation. For additional information, please reference the engine owner’s manual. 2. The FireFox 620 should only be assembled by persons with the necessary skills to properly read, understand, and follow mechanical instructions.
  • Page 9 FireFox 620. 14. The FireFox 620 should NEVER be started unless the throttle is in idle position. The driver MUST be seated before attempting to start the vehicle. Do NOT attempt to start the vehicle unless all riders are seated with their safety harness fastened.

    ASSEMBLY The first step in preparing your FireFox 620 for driving is removing the parts from the shipping box. Unpacking Parts 1. Remove all loose parts and place in an open area where they are easily accessible and will not be damaged. It may be necessary to cut the zip ties to access all loose parts.

  • Page 14 Rear Shocks The FireFox 620 is shipped with the rear shocks not attached. It is necessary to install the shocks in their appropriate positions before attempting to operate the go-kart. Locate the rear shocks from the loose parts. Remove the shipping bar from each side of the kart. IM- PORTANT: The kart frame needs to be properly supported before re- moving the shipping bars and attempting to install the shocks.
  • Page 15 IMPORTANT: The air pressure in the rear tires should register between 18-20 psi. NOTE: The rear tires for the FireFox 620 are directional tires. While assembling the go-kart, please ensure that the valve stems are facing outward and the directional arrow on the sidewall of the tire rotates towards the front of the kart.

Place the castle nut on the tie rod end and tighten. Slide the cotter pin through the opening in the tie rod end and bend each end of the pin in opposite ninety degree directions.
  • Page 17 Steering Wheel The steering wheel needs to be moved from the shipping position to the operating position before attempting to operate the go-kart. Do NOT attempt to operate this go-kart without moving the steering wheel into the proper operating position. 1.
  • Page 18 Brush Guard Side Supports 1. Locate the two points of contact that hold the passenger side support in place. The first contact point is located directly behind the front shock. The second contact point is located directly above the rear tire. 2.
  • Page 19 Front Support 1. Locate the shorter, straight tube from the loose parts. 2. Remove the bolt and washer from each end of the tube. 3. Align the pre-drilled holes in each end of the tube with the pre- drilled holes in each side support. 4.
  • Page 20 Rear Support 1. Locate the longer, straight tube from the loose parts. 2. Remove the bolt and washer from each end of the tube. 3. Align the pre-drilled holes in each end of the tube with the pre- drilled holes in each side support. 4.
  • Page 21 align with the top two points on the side supports. 4. Align the pre-drilled holes in each end of the tube with the pre- drilled holes in each side support. 5. Place a washer on the bolt for each side. Insert a bolt through all pre-drilled holes and tighten.
  • Page 22 Storage Compartment 1. Locate the nuts and bolts that will hold the storage compartment in place from the loose parts. . 2. Align the studs on the storage compartment with the pre-drilled holes in the main frame directly behind the passenger’s seat. Slide the studs through the pre-drilled holes and hand tighten the bolts in place.
  • Page 23 Engine Guard 1. Locate the engine guard from the loose parts. 2. Remove the nuts and washers from the three studs on the engine guard. 3. Align the three studs on the engine guard with the three pre-drilled holes in the kart main frame. 4.
  • Page 24 Headrest Holding the release button on the side of the opening in the top of the seat, slide the metal rods into the openings on the top of the driver’s and passenger’s seats. Be sure that both metal pieces slide into the holes on the tops of the seats and the headrest is facing the correct position.

    Before Each Ride Do NOT attempt to operate this vehicle unless you: 1. Have proper adult supervision if you are under the age of 18. 2. Read this manual and understand the warning labels. 3. Have an understanding of all the controls and how to properly operate them.
  • Page 26 Check The Oil To check the oil, remove the dipstick from the engine. (See Figures below) Wipe clear any oil from the dipstick and place it back in the hole it was removed from. Do NOT twist the dipstick back into place, doing so will give you a false reading.

Undercarriage Before operating the FireFox 620, check the bottom of the unit for grass, dirt, and/or objects that could cause an accident. Remove these objects or any debris that is stuck to the bottom. Failure to remove debris could result in injury.

    WARNING: If there is not a passenger riding in the FireFox 620, be sure that the passenger seat belt is properly buckled. Buckling the passenger’s seat belt without a passenger riding will keep the seat belt from getting caught in moving go-kart components.
  • Page 30 To connect the harness, properly sit in the seat and place each arm through the shoulder strap on the corresponding side. After shoulder straps are in place, buckle the lap belt and tighten by pulling the loose ends away from the buckle. Proceed to tighten the shoulder straps by pulling the loose ends towards the bottom of the go-kart..

    Passengers The FireFox 620 is designed to carry (1) driver and (1) passenger. The combined weight of the driver and passenger should not exceed 180 kilograms or 400 pounds. Exceeding this weight limit may create hazardous driving/riding conditions.

    Do Not Attempt Stunts While driving the FireFox 620, it is very important to keep all four wheels on the ground. Attempting to perform stunts or any tricks while driving this vehicle may result in serious injury to all parties involved.
