Safety Notice BLAZE makes every effort to ensure that its products are safe for its users. Extensive research has produced no information that would indicate that use of this product has adverse effects on pregnancies or on the operation of electronic medical implants such as pacemakers.

Components / Function 3-Way Power Switch has two On positions and a central Off position: When the power switch is pressed forward, the Blaze Detecting Wand will sound an audible alert upon detection of any metal and the red light alert will appear. -

DETECTING WAND METAL DETECTOR OPERATOR’S MANUAL Operating Instructions When the Blaze Detecting Wand is operating, it will only detect metal while it is in motion. Scan within approximately 5cm of the person (object) being inspected. A sound will be heard or vibration felt and the red tight will illuminate when metal is detected anywhere around or at the tip of the Detecting Wands detection area. -

Battery: Standard 9V included Note: Do not affix metallic labels (or any material thaI might cause the delector to alarm) to the detection area of the Blaze Detecting Wand. Doing so might cause an imbalance within the detection field and thereby reduce scanning effectiveness. -

Blaze Detecting Wand will not operate. Because the battery cover will not close tightly if the battery is inserted improperly, never force the cover. When the Blaze Detecting Wand is to be stored for more than 30 days, remove battery. -
