To input a new value, dial the numeric key pad and press ENTER to confirm the new input. If there is wrong input, press key “←” to clear the wrong values and make new input.

    3 .5. Remote Control 1 5 B RS232 interface is a standard part for TFC8000 series. A GPIB interface is also provided as an optional part for users. The RS232 interface is the most commonly used interface for instruments. Its hardware is a D type 9-pin connector.

    b) Test the signal wire between the instrument and the PC. The TXD to GND terminal should have a voltage of -8V to -12V. c) The receiving data may have problems, even if the remote control port works properly. This may be due to loose contact between the port and the cable connector. It can also be caused by jamming from the operating environment.
