Forward Error Correction. Correction of faulty bits in th e r eceiv ed signal.
Parental control
A feature th at allows p ar ents to lock program s th at they con sider unsuitable for their childr en. A
locked chann el or program c an only be unlocked with the password.
PIN code
Per sonal Identif ic ation Numb er. A four-digit code that i s u sed for locking/unlocking chann el s and
programs, as in the p arental cont rol feature.
