FUEL MIXTURE
1.
Always use
a good
grade of gasoline, free of water
and dirt.
2.
Use
a good grade
of
2
cycle air
cooled
engine
oil
which is specially blended for
snowmobile
use.
Common outboard motor oil will break down
under
excessive
heat. Whenever possible, have
gasoline and oil at
room temperatures when
m1xmg.

4. Do not mix gas and oil in the machine tank. Using
a clean container, fill to about
Y2
with gas, then add
the full amount of oil and mix thoroughly, then fill
with gas and re-mix.
5. When filling machine with pre-mixed
supply, shake
can
to re-mix before filling. Gas
and oil
mixture
may have
a
tendency to separate while
setting.
CAUTION
Excessive oil
will
cause
carbonization of
pistons,
spark
plugs, ports,
and exhaust systems.
Too
little oil may cause piston
seizure, overheating,
and
rod
and
bearing failure.
