    On completion of the installation, switch on / plug in the MultiChoice decoder at the mains. The decoder will go through a power-up sequence, acquire all available channels and display Channel 1 of the DStv Bouquet. At this time, there will be an information banner on-screen indicating that you need to insert the MultiChoice Smartcard.

    CHANNEL GRID The channel grid displays a list of all available channels in the DStv Bouquet and is a quick way to check what’s showing on your favourite channel. It’s also a great way to tune to a channel when you’re not quite sure what number that channel is on.

    PARENTAL CONTROL The MultiChoice 933 decoder has a Parental Control feature to restrict viewing of certain programmes. Access to this feature is controlled by the Parental Control PIN code. The default Parental Control PIN code is 1234. If you intend to use this feature, we recommend that you change the Parental Control PIN code and keep note of it in a secure place.
