    Insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the rectangular slot at the bottom of the PENDANT to twist open the REMOTE PENDANT TOP COVER. Remove the old battery and load a new 12V type LR23 alkaline battery into the battery compartment following the polarity markings as indicated on the PCB.
