What is the DataJack U600 3G/4G USB Modem? The U600 USB Modem provides broadband access via the DataJack 3G and 4G networks when plugged into a USB port on a laptop or desktop computer that supports Windows® 8/7/Vista/XP (Service Pack 2 or later), or Mac OS 10.5 or 10.6 (with an Intel platform) operating systems.

Click the Connect button to establish a connection. If I lose coverage or remove the USB U600 during a file download, will the download resume when the device is inserted and within 3G or 4G coverage again? No.
The USB U600 is not fully inserted into the USB port on your PC. The USB U600 must be fully inserted into the USB port of your computer in order for the drivers to be installed and the SmartView software to recognize the USB U600.

If low signal strength is displayed in the SmartView window, move to a location with better coverage. For a map of coverage in your area, using an alternate Internet connection browse to the DataJack Coverage Tool at www.datajack.com/coverage-area-map, enter your address and click Go.

For Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options and select the Connections tab. Ensure that either Never dial a connection is selected, or that the DataJack connection is set as the default. Also ensure that no proxy information is specified by clicking the Settings button and ensuring that the Use a proxy server for this connection checkbox is not selected.
If you are only receiving 1-2 bars, it is very possible you will lose connection or occasionally not be able to connect. You need 2 or more bars for a good connection. Try using your U600 in a different location to gain increased signal strength.
