    If you have a newer operating system, such as Windows Me or XP, you don’t need to install any software. This MP-400 is “plug and play” and ready to use when you connect the USB cable to the MP-400 and your computer (your computer must have a USB port).

Connecting the Audio Player and Computer Both PC or Mac users must use the USB cable to connect the player and computer before you can download or upload music files to the computer. 1 Connect the smaller plug of the USB cable to the mini-USB port on the player as shown. Plug only fits one way, if the plug does not match the mini-USB port, don’t force it, just reverse it and try again.
