TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem
The power is not on.
There is no sound.

even when a CD is in place.
CD does not play.
The sound drops out.
No sound on battery
power or weak sound.

Remedy
Insert the AC plug into a wall outlet securely.
Make sure the batteries are installed correctly
and that they are fresh.
Rotate the VOLUME/PO WER O FF switc h
downwards to turn on the set.
Adjust the volume.
Unplug the headphones when listening through
speaker.
Check the batteries.
Insert the CD with the label side outward.
Make sure the CD is inserted onto the spindle
and "clicked" into place & close the door.
Make sure the CD is seated on the center spindle
and "clicked" into place before closing the door.
Make sure that the CD compartment is closed
properly.
Clean the CD or try another CD, this set will
not play MP3 or WMA discs.
Replace the disc (this set will not play damaged
or s c r atc h ed C Ds ), or buy a d is c repa ir
polisher to repair the scratched disc yourself.
Take out the CD and leave the CD DOOR open
for about an hour to dry moisture condensation.
Clean the CD, or replace it if the CD is badly
damaged.
Place the player in a location free from vibration.
Check if your batteries are fresh.
Your batteries are weak or dead. Replace all
batteries with new ones.
