Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. USING YOUR SALTON ELITE TOASTER Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe the surface of the toaster with a soft damp cloth. -

If necessary, the extra lift function can be used to remove the bread from the toaster. Simply lift the carriage handle upwards and this will elevate the toast an extra 2cm for easy removal. The cancel button can be used at any time during the cycle to cancel toasting. To use the defrost function (if it is necessary to defrost the frozen bread), select the defrost button (The light will go on), place the bread into the toaster and press down on the carriage handle. - Page 5 Has the plug been wired correctly and are the wires tight under their screws. Is the household socket working properly?
