Install the instrument panel center bezel onto the in­ strument panel and fully engage the retainer clips. 24. Install the shifter bezel to the floor console (1) and fully engage the retainer clips.

    PROCEDURE STEPS: 1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. 2. If equipped with power windows, using a fiber trim stick, gently pry the switch assembly (2) away from the trim panel (1), disconnect the electrical connector and remove the switch. 3.
  • Page 13 9. Using a fiber trim stick, disengage the two retaining clips (1) that secure the top of the steering column opening cover (2) to the instrument panel. 10. Disengage the two lower retaining tabs and remove the steering column opening cover. 11.
  • Page 14 15. Release the remaining 13 retaining clips (1) and re­ move the trim panel (2). CAUTION: Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connec­ tor could damage the cable or radio. 16. Remove the radio mounting screws. 17.
