Questions and answers
Hello, after changing a gas cylinder during use the heater became difficult to ignite and when it did ignite it wouldn't work on the full heat setting.
The Universal Innovations MANHATTAN heater may be difficult to ignite and not work on the full heat setting after changing the gas cylinder due to a potential gas flow issue. The manual states that the unit must be leak-tested before first use and every time the gas cylinder is changed. If there is a leak or improper connection, gas flow may be restricted. Additionally, the pilot light will remain on until the cylinder regulator is turned off, so ensuring the regulator is properly connected and supplying gas at the correct pressure is essential. Checking for obstructions in the gas line and ensuring the cylinder valve is fully open may also help resolve the issue.
