To turn on RF for the JR 11X transmitter, plug the Trainer cord into the back of the transmitter while leaving the power switch in the OFF position. This activates the transmitter for training or programming without turning on the RF signal. To turn on RF normally, simply power on the transmitter using the power switch without the Trainer cord connected.
