Deleted Contents The Deleted Contents menu contains the information from the last 75 disks that have been deleted. - Restore by List & Search function View All Within the “Retrieve” menu, the default sub- menu is “view All” This menu display all the trays whether occupied, unoccupied, or lent out.

Find Find enables you to search for a title, description, file, and directory of the stored disks. ** Option * All - Select all options Title, Description, Directory, and File name. * Time - Search by registered date. * Title - Search by Title. * Description - Search by Description.

Printer Setup This menu allows you to set the printer to desired print capabilities. Print The “Print” menu allows you to select which catagory to print. The selections include all cotogories or a specific catagory(disk type) Option This menu can establish CD Org a n i z e r A p p l i c a t i o n ’s environment and extra functions.
4.2 CD Organizer application functions Automatic Insertion/Abstraction Reporting Function The CD Organizer application is aware at all times of the CD Organizer’s USB connection to the computer. Thus, if a new disk is added or a disk is removed while the CD Organizer is unplugged from the computer, the application will report that information to you and also process the data.
5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 Using the CD Organizer application 5.1 Storing a new disk There are two ways to store a new disk in the CD Org a n i z e r. The first method offers the option to allow your disk content to be automatically read by the CD-ROM drive, thus, providing the CD information without having to type it yourself.

Step 4. Select a method that will designate which disk tray you desire to use. Select [Yes] if you wish to choose the tray, or select [No] if you want the CD Organizer to choose one for you. If [No] is selected, the CD O rganizer will select the next available(empty) tray to store the disk.

Step 7. When the CD-ROM Drive and CD Organizer trays open, move the Disk from the CD-ROM Drive to the CD Organizer tray and click [OK]. Step 8. The next screen will ask if you want to add another disk. If you do, then click [Ye s ] , otherwise click [No].

[Manual input] Step 1. Select [New Disk] under the Store menu. Step 2. Select [Manual] in the following screen. Step 3. Select a method that will designate which disk tray you desire to use. Select [Yes] if you wish to designate the tray yourself, select [No] if you want the CD Organizer to automatically allocate it for you.

Step 5. When the CD Organizer tray opens, insert the Disk into the CD Organizer tray and click [OK]. Step 6. The next screen will ask if you want to add more disks. If you do, click [Yes], otherwise click [No]. Owner’s Manual...
5.2 Returing a Disk This function return the disk after use or when it is being returned to you if the disk was lent out. You can use [Return Disk] from [Store] menu Other methods that can be used to restore a disk are by using the Re-store function from [View All] from [Eject] menu, click the right mouse button under the [Re-store] sub menu under STORE or using the Search function located on the bottom portion in the [Re-store Disk] from [Store] menu, which allows you to search for disk(s) that are currently present in...

Step 3. The next screen will ask if the disk placed in this tray has the same contents as the information stored by the CD Or g a n i z e r software for that tray. click [Yes] if this is correct, otherwise click [No].

[Return by Search] If you prefer, you can use the search function to return. This scans the unoccupied trays and provides you a filtered list based upon the criteria selected from the items checked or it will scan all if no items are selected. Step 1.

Step 4. If you click [Yes], then the selected tray will open and the screen will ask you to insert the Disk onto the opened tray. clict [Ok] after the disk is in the CD Organizer’ s tray. Step 5. If you clict [Ok], the tray will close and the screen will change to the [All] screen of the [View] menu.
5.3 Restoring deleted disk information and the disk To restore deleted disk information and the disk,select of [Deleted Contents] from the [Store] menu. Step 1. Select [Deleted contents] from the [Store] menu. Step 2. If the deleted tray information is displayed on the screen, then check detailed information on the lower screen.

Step 3. If there are too many contents in the deleted contents list, you can search by [Search] menu of right screen. This is looks same as [Find] function of [Search] menu, but this just displays deleted trays only. Step 4. If you using two or more CD Organizer, you can see the unit number in lower left corner and you can select the unit number and tray...
5.4. Finding a disk There are many ways you can find a disk in your CD Organizer. Listed below are the options you can choose from when trying to locate a specific disk.. Using the [Search] menu. This feature provides a search function when looking for specific disk that you have stored. You can sort your search by Title, Date, Description, File name and more.

Step 4. Select [Ok] when the confirmation message appears. If you are lending the disk out, select the (LEND OPTION).Select [Cancel] if you do not want to Eject that disk. Step 5. Take out the disk from the opened tray and click [Ok].
5.5 Deleting disk information and removing the disk This function is designed to allow you to delete information on a disk that you no longer want to store or manage. If you delete the disk stored in the CD Organizer, the disk will be ejected. If already ejected, only the tray information listed for that disk will be deleted.
5.6 Lending a disk This function allows you to input lending information that it will be remembered until the CD is returned. To use this function, check the ‘Lend’ option box when the [Eject] screen appears or click right mouse button at [Disk Type] or [View All] from [Eject] or [Find] from [Search] menu.

[Quick Lend] Step 1. Click the right mouse button after selecting the tray you wish to eject by selecting [View All] from the [Eject] menu or from the [Disk Type] screen. Step 2. Select [Lend] in menu. [Lend now] Step1. Click the Tray you wish to lent by selecting [View All] from the [Eject] menu.
5.7 Changing trays This function allows you to move a disk from one track to another. [ Tray Move] Step 1. Select [View All] from the [Eject] menu. Step 2. Select Tray [Source Tray] you want to move. Step 3. Click the right mouse button and select [Move].

Step 4. Select the new tray (Target Tray) you wish to move the disk to and click [Ok]. Step 5. Take out the disk from the Source T r a y according to the instructions that appear on the screen and select [OK]. Step 6.
5.8 Changing disk information This function allows you to change the stored disk information [Edit Disk Information] Step 1. Select [View All] from the [Eject] menu. Step 2. Select the tray that you wish to modify. With the tray highlighted, right click the mouse button and select [Ok] from the drop down list.
5.9 Management of Tools - by Edit Disk Type This menu can add, modify or delete new disk types. [ A d d ] Step 1. If you want to add Disk Type, you can add the type by selecting the [Disk Type Edit] sub menu under [Tools].

Step 2. Once the type is highlighted, change the name of disk type and click [Edit] button. [ D e l e t e ] Step 1. If you wish to delete a disk type, just select the type and click [Delete] button. Step 2.
Step 3. If there are any trays which are currently using the disk type you want to delete, there will be another screen which appears allowing you to change the type. You can either ignore the message and continue with the delete, or select cancel to end the entire process without changes.
5.11 Management of Tools - by Print This menu allows to print simple disk information by unit number and disk type(All, Software, DVD...). [ P r e v i e w ] This function allows you to see the contents before you printing it.
5.13 Mouse double-click Eject / Restore / New Disk [ E j e c t ] Step 1. To eject a stored tray, select double-click a tray,, Step 2. Click [OK] after you have removed the disk from CD Organizer. Step 3.

[ R e s t o r e ] Step1. To return a ejected tray. select double-click a tray. Step 2. The next screen will ask if the selected tray is returnd. Click [Yes] if this is correct, otherwise click [No]. Step 3.

Step 4. The tray will close and the screen will change to the [View All] screen in the [Eject] menu. [New Disk] Step 1. To store a empty tray, select double-click a tray. Step 2. The next screen will ask you to store the disk in CD Organizer.
Step 3. After selecting [Yes], there is a screen which allows you to select two storing methods : [Auto], [Manual]. Step 4. The [Auto] and [Manual] storing methods are the same as “5.1 Storeing a new disk.” 5.14 Quick Return This function allows to re-store last ejected disk by one click if you used eject function just before.
5.15 Using the CD-ROM Drive’ s automatic function CD Organizer Application will automatically scan the CD for you by utilizing your computer’ s CD-ROM Drive. The CD-ROM Drive will automatically eject after the auto scan function is finished. A designated tray will open to transfer the CD from your CD-ROM drive to the CD Organizer.
5.16 Removing a disk without CD Organizer Application When a disk is removed by using the CD Organizer keypad while the application program is not running, the CD Organizer application program will check and notify you when the program is executed. The screen displays the ejected tray number and information.

Step 3-1. If you select [YES], the message, “Please check the Disk onto the open tray” will appear. Step 3-2. If you select [No], “Please remove the Disk from the open tray” will appear. Step 4. If you select [Ok] after inserting or removing the disk, the open tray of the CD Org a n i z e r will close.

2) When a new disk is inserted into an empty tray When a new disk is inserted into the empty tray by using the keypad on the organizer and not thru the software, the program recognizes that a new disk has been added to the Organizer The application displays tje newfound tray number and assists you in adding the disk(s) one by one.
Step 3-1. If you select [Manual], please refer to “5.1. Storing a new disk.” Step 3-2. If you select [Deleted], please refer to “5.3 Restoring deleted disk information and the disk.” 5.17 Backup/Restore/Repair database of CD Organizer Application This function allows to backup or restoring and then repair the tray information of the CD Organizer application.

(1) Backup Step 2. Select [Backup] button of the first screen. Step 3. Select the directory you want to save and click [OK] (2) Restore Step 2. Select [Browser] button of lower screen to select the directory of backup file. Owner’s Manual...

Step 3. While you select the directory and click [OK], the selected directory will be displayed in Restore area. the backup data will be restored while you click [Restore] button. Step 3-1. If you select “All Tower” to restore the database, all of current database will be overwrited.

(3) Repair If the database index is broken, the <Move> and <Delete> function of this application may not work. Please run <Repair> function of [Backup-Restore] program to fix the problem. You can see the [Backup-Restore] program icon in CD Organizer program group. Step 2.
Q. My CD Organizer does not work and eight LEDs from 68 to 75 blinking. A. The tray mechanism shocked and miss-positioned. Just disconnect the DC Adapter Connecter and connect again. If the problem still exists, contact IIT Technical Support.
