    Safety guide When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including:  This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

     It is normal to have residual water left over in the hotdog steamer when the appliance has been shut down. Never handle, move or disassemble the hot dog steamer when it is still hot. Always let the appliance cool down completely before handling, moving or disassembling the appliance.

    Do not lift the appliance by the side handles. Insert the hotdog steamer tray in the main unit body by lifting it slightly upwards to enable the back stopper-tabs of the tray to fit it in place. The back stopper-tabs are a safety feature to block the hotdog steam tray from fully opening when taking out hotdogs from the tray.

    Remove the hotdogs using tongs. Assemble the hotdogs by carefully opening the buns and placing the hotdog inside of them. Note:  Always ensure that there is sufficient water in the steamer tray. If needed fill the steamer base through the water-fill vents located on the side handles of the drip tray (left or right side).
