To turn the KVM off, it is necessary to remove all external power coming through the connected cables. A firmware upgrade is generally not required unless you are having operation issues. Please check with the Chassis Plans Customer Service Department for instructions prior to uploading new Firmware into your CCXR-17 KVM. There are potential failure issues that require the unit be returned to Chassis Plans for repair if the Firmware upgrade is not successful.
