Thank you for purchasing a Digital Watch USA video surveillance system.
This manual is only a reference tool for the installation and operation of your system.
Before installing anything, please follow the guidelines to properly connect your DVR and pay attention to
the warnings listed below.
Now, let's take a moment to go through the features of your DVR.
Warnings
Do not open the DVR case(except to install/swap the hard drive), never open the case when the DVR is
powered on.
Only use the power adapter supplied.
Make sure the DVR is in a well ventilated space and avoid dusty or humid locations.
Protect your DVR against sudden bumps or shocks.
Avoid direct sunlight, place the DVR away from direct heat sources and operate the DVR in a temperated
location (0℃ ~ 40℃).

    3 Basic operation 3.1 Turn on Plug the power supply and turn on the power supply switch. Notice the power supply’s indicator light, if turned on this indicates the video recorder is turned on. After the startup you will hear a “beep” sound. Note: 1.

    3.3 System Login The first time you will turn on your DVR system, the software will prompt you to input a Username and Password. By default you will only need to type “admin” in the Username section and click the OK button.

The recording parameters include the scheduling for the activation of automatic recording and the mode of recording being 1. Regular (for continuos recording), 2. Detect (for beginning recording only if a movement is detected) and 3.

    6 FAQ and maintenance 6.1 FAQ If the problems are not listed, please contact the local service or call the HQ service. We are willing to offer the service. 1、 The DVR can not boot up normally. Possible reasons could be the following: The power supply does not correspond to your voltage Power supply line is not properly connected Power supply switch is damaged.
