    If the system is not correctly installed, this could lead to ESC burn out and motor failure. - The Steerix STRX-9 is designed for use in fresh water only. They are not designed to be used in salt water.

    2. Insert the 6V battery into the left side of the hull. 3. Insert the 6V battery connector into the matching connector inside the STRX-9. DO NOT force them together. 4. Replace the hatch. NOTE: 1. There is a rubber ring placed along the slot of the hull. Always make sure it is secured properly before re-positioning the hatch.

    When the battery no longer holds a charge (is dead), it should be properly recycled. NOTE 1: The Steerix STRX-9 will typically run for about 8-10 min on a fully charged battery. As soon as you notice a drop o in speed, you should bring the model back to shore or you may lose control of the boat.

    Release the wheel to go straight. RACING TIP: The Steerix STRX-9 is an oval racer designed for clockwise racing and will be less responsive to steering inputs at high speed, particularly left turns. Decrease your speed to allow tighter turning.

    Driving Your STRX-9 Cont. If the boat does not run in a straight line when not being steered, you can x this by adjusting the steering trim located on the upper right hand side of the transmitter. 1. Run your model on calm water when adjusting the steering.
