    To turn on Wi-Fi for the Voyager Air 2 Plus, press the Wi-Fi button on the right side of the front panel. The blue Wi-Fi icon will light up. Note that it takes one or two minutes for the Wi-Fi server to be available for connection after turning it on. When the Voyager Air 2 Plus drive is connected via USB, Wi-Fi connectivity is disabled.
  • Page 4 WIRELESS PASSWORD It is STRONGLY suggested that you enable password protection for your Voyager Air 2 Plus. After launching the app (or web browser client), navigate to the Settings screen, look for the “Password:” setting, press the “Enable” button, then enter a password.
  • Page 5 Reconnect by pressing the Wi-Fi icon. If your Voyager Air 2 Plus drive is connected to your home network, your mobile device can remain connected to the same network. The app can connect to the drive over that network (and you don’t need to connect to the drive directly).

    3. Position your Voyager Air 2 Plus in a central location When possible, place your Voyager Air 2 Plus in a central location in your home or office. If your drive is against an outside wall of your home, the signal will be weak on the other side of your home. If your drive is on the first floor and your client device (tablet, smartphone, laptop or desktop) is on the second floor, try to place the drive high on a shelf in the room where it is located.
